The mission of
Tipton County Commission on Aging is to promote
independence, wellness and advocacy to seniors,
caregivers and their families in Tipton and surrounding
counties.
The office of the TCCA is housed on the lower level of
the Covington Senior Center. The CSC is located in
Covington at the corner of Church Street and College
Street just one block east of Highway 51. The TCCA
strives to provide services to all seniors in Tipton
County through a wide array of programs and services
through the Covington Senior Center and from other
senior centers and gathering places across the county.
Locales in addition to the Covington Center include the
Garland and Munford Senior Centers, and Dunlap
Retirement Center.
The Tipton County Commission on Aging Board of Directors
and Staff have worked very diligently to complete a four
year strategic plan. It is a very ambitious plan that
will require a team effort to be implemented
successfully.
